My appologies DefyInertia, maybe I didn't express myself correctly.
Upon clicking on the link for Killjoy's work, this was the picture that stuck in my head:

From a rider's point of view. A row of cars like billboards on the...
OMG, the reason why all those accidents happen in the first place is the fact these photographers are on the side of the road distracting riders.
As mentioned, target fixation. We do it subconsciously, may it be a police car, traffic accident, or stalled car...anything out of the ordinary...
From a different perspective, it gives people a place to vent; however, if you're still holding a grudge against a driver over half an hour, it shows how you can't cope with the daily stresses of driving.
As my friend found out, if an update is available for a game, your XBOX won't even let you play until you've downloaded it.
The update can be downloaded even if you don't subscribe to a Gold account. As long as your XBOX is connected to the internet, the update will be automatic. You would...
Re: Biker Wipes Out at 95mph
He was doing a wheelie. He must have lost concentration when he noticed the group of riders on the side of the road.

Roll call in the middle of Feb?
I'm from Montreal, PQ. :canada:
Acquired full license last year; will have a full season this year.
There's a few of us from this area, but the snow has given us amnesia. I'm going back into hibernation. :scared:

Really? I definitely hope not. In my area, the DMV considers the FZ6 to be a regular/crusier motorcycle. (registered is ~$550) R1 & R6 are classed as supersports (~$1200). This would be bad news if they phase out the FZ6, the DMV will have an opportunity to classify the FZ6R as a supersport...
Just my input:
Our FZ6 comes with touring tires.
The GSX-R comes with racing tires? I was told by other riders that tires on a supersport needs to be warmed up before they get optimum grip.
Combination of that and something else?
Nope, I don't lug.
IMO:
When you lug your bike, the engine is on the brink of stalling.
Depending on how badly you lug your bike, you may end up using more throttle to get the bike back to speed. Example: Starting from a dead stop on 2nd gear. But in this department, it depends on...
For Hockey Skates, check out the ""Vapor Series" from Bauer. If you shop around, you'll get a good deal on discontinuing models. Anything that is currently on their website is usually expensive.
Bauer Vapors are considered mid range so you'll get a good quality at a reasonable price.
If...
I had the same question and one of my mechanic friends answered:
Reason why manufacturers or mechanics don't really use loctite on anything is because it's a nuisance when you gotta undo a bolt or screw to work on it.
IMO, since the stock bolts don’t even have loctite, it’s not required...
My sliders came in on Dec 31. I picked up some "blue thread lock" (similar to Loctite) to install them today. While inspecting the received parts, Aluminum shaving came out when I pushed the bolt into the inserts.
A few tips:
Before installing, air clean the sliders and bolts to ensure...
We're using an online DVD website to rent movies. Whatever is on your list, they will mail it to you once it comes around and Beowulf was sent to us.
Unlike what it looked like in theatre trailers, Beowulf is actually a fully CG movie. The actor's faces are scanned into the computer. When...
My wife actually pulled me into seeing that movie. We thought the storyline was brilliant with some subtle comedy. Overall, we enjoyed it. But it's something you would only want to watch once.
That was the first thing I had installed when I bought my bike. It's called Merlin 3000. It has a tilt sensor, auto arm, flashing LED, back up battery, ignition killswitch, weather proof, goes into sleep mode after 3 days to save power - turns right back on once a sensor is triggered.
My...
Yes!
Is this why Suzuki started stacking their regular and hi-beam on top of each other on the GSX? Most people like to see our bikes with either both on or off. Maybe I should just keep the hi-beams on!
My dealership was trying to convince me to change the regular light into HID, which...
Supermoto, it's like having a dirt bike with a street bike engine and wheels. Seems very versitle. Going offroad on our FZ6 is only a dream compared to that!
Very Nice:thumbup:
A) As a new rider, no. But for any vehicle: bicycle, car, etc. The handling or feeling of the vehicle is never the same after it's had some work done on it.
Ex: Car tune-up, you bring in a car with low pressure tyres, dirty motor oil. Oil is changed, tyres are brought to the correct...
The FZ6 has a more upright riding position than the SV650. The SV650 riding position requires you to lean forward to give you a slight supersport feel that most FZ6 riders hate. Insurance is cheap on both of these bikes. Comparing the two with about the same engine volume of 600cc, the FZ6...
