I moved to Florida in July of 07, i needed to find a PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR for my neck. Back in 2001 i was on a ladder and the step broke and fell about 10ft on my neck and snapped my spinal-cord in half. So that was the injury, what you seen in the pic's has nothing to do with the injury of 2007. As i said earlier i moved here to Florida in July of 2007. So now ii was looking for a PAIN DOC in Florida. I found one and he sent me for X-RAYS, CAT SCANS the whole 9 yards. So after looking at all the results he wanted to do EPIDURAL injection to the areas that i had pain in (I was getting the shots in NY with no problems). The first shot he gave me was on December 6th 2007 and was kinda painfully (all the others in NY never felt like this), 3 days later (on Thursday i was in MAJOR PAIN so i went to the ER where they gave me some pain meds and told me to tell my Doctor. So the next Monday I told the Doc what happened and he gave me another Epidural and trigger shots again, just like the first time i was back to the ER with the same problems but even more pain this time. Now the pain was even more then the first time, so i went to the ER on a Sunday (Christmas Eve) and the sent me for a MRI, about 30 minutes later i was surrounded by doctors and they said that i have to go for EMERGENCY SURGERY. I said "FOR WHAT", they told me that i had a puss pocket from C-2 (which is the Brian stem) down to T-7. From Christmas Eve which was a Monday that was the 1st Surgery, every Monday they did surgery until the 2nd week in February i had an operation. I kept getting worse. They said that if i don't go to "DENVER HEALTH AND NATIONAL JEWISH HOSPITAL I WILL DIE".
Make even longer story short, it wound up being the Doctor was using TAINTED SOLUTION AND MEDICINE". So the Doctor and the MANUFACTURE was responsible. After 10 surgeries and almost blowing up my PANCREAS, and Flat-lining 3 times, I am alive but have to be on pain meds and Antibiotics for the rest of my life.To keep the bacteria dormant and not active i need to be on meds for the rest of my live. So that's my story.
I know this has nothing to do with motorcycles, but it just shows that some of us go through hard times and for me the one thing i didn't want to stop was "MY FIZZER".
