Dude, i dropped my old man's cb750 exactly the same way once.

If i was better trained, i would have saved it, but the panic brake grab is a killer.

Thanks for sharing, and i hope you get going soon. Why do you think frame damage? If the bike slid, frame SHOULD still be ok ... ?

Yeah, I wish i would have separated. Panic grab = fail, perfect world situations and experience IMHO is the only thing that could have prevented it. Next bike will have ABS so I can feel comfortable on a bike again. The bike actually landed on the frame when it came down, so that took the brunt of the fall. It's goign to be totaled by insurance.
