My "ride" today

It was 18c here today (64f) and gorgeously sunny. As I have no bike anymore (*^%*$#@%!!) I decided to take out my pedal bike. It isn't quite as easy as a motorcycle....my legs are still wobbly lol I first took it downtown, went to a tanning salon...(yeah, shut up, I'm a girl) then went for a tour around my new town. I found some walking/biking paths just down from my house and took some pictures. Its sure not my Fizzer, but at least it has 2 wheels.

I used to complain about getting no respect on the motorcycle from the cages...but holy crap! they wouldn't even get over downtown, they were close enough that I could've touched their mirrors by lifting my elbow!

Nah, didn't post anything about it, but I guess most people will notice now lol


I split up with my husband, and now don't have a bike, can't afford one. But I am going back to school in the fall to get a career after being an at home mom for 12 years....so after that, I may get the Busa of my dreams...until then? I save money on payments, gas, insurance...*sigh*

try to look at things with thr glass half full. i just had surgery on my shoulder and probably wont ride this season now but im looking at the fact that its not that i wont ride again. its just a matter of when and when i do it will be that much better.

LOL did you notice that I said saving money?? Thats my half full and when I get a bike I will pick and pay for it

Sorry to hear about your shoulder...I think that would be worse, having the Fizzer sitting there and not being able to.

I just bought my first bicycle in 31 years (!) three weeks ago but we've had so much snow this spring I've only gotten it out once so far (know that old nugget, "It's like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget"? Horse Hockey! ) I didn't buy the bike to save money, but rather to get rid of my potbelly; as soon as the roads clear we'll see if it works!

Sorry about the split, Steph. Listen to a lot of comedy, if you can. I've never been married but just love when comedians riff on marriage. It's one of my favorite subjects -- when it comes to comedy, that is.

Interesting. Today I got out on one of my bikes for the first time in way too long. I'm not racing (bicycles) this season, first time in a good number of years. This was the first winter in a long time that I didn't ride. It's weird. I'm gonna be sore tomorrow. But that's what tylenol and ibuprofen are for...
