Wowsas, I may have just made a mess in my trousers!!

That is stunning and the custom fab work is incredible. I would love my bike to look half as s**t hot as that.

I wonder if I could get somebody to weld the Ducati cans onto a standard set of header pipes? Then I would need to get a custom subframe fabbed up.

Yer, that would easily spiral into a massive project and many many many pennies.

Do it, it really doesn't get that pricey when you are doing it yourself. I will go back to the original post and add my costs to each item and see what it ended up costing me.

Front wheel backwards  I don't think so...

Maybe I'm confused, but I see:

1. The tread pattern of the front tire is the opposite of the rear in rotation.
2. The cast wheel spokes of the front wheel should rotate with the smooth edge cutting forward through air (same as rear).

dude the bike looks rad!!!

how hard was it to fit up the r6 rear sets?

Not too hard, the mounting holes are about a 1/4" wider on center, so I just squeezed the rear sets in a vise. The shift linkage needs to be bent to fit around the frame and the master cylinder mount has to be removed and a new one fabricated to move the master cylinder back away from the frame.

Awesome work man. I love it!

Now the real question is: in a fight, which streetfighter would win - jtarkany's or Wolfman's? :D

Funny you should ask because it was Wavex and Wolfmans bikes that inspired me to go naked in the first place. In fact, the first time I saw Wolfmans bike with that bagster tank protector (not on it anymore) I new that I wanted to wrap my tank to look like it was covered in leather

Oh yea, the answer to the question is, neither, they wouldn't fight, they'd go grab a beer :iconbeer:

Question?

I am in the process of makin' my 05' FZ6 naked and haven't some issues doing the headlights. First, are your lights hi/low like the top is high and bottom is daytime? Halogen? What is the Wattage output? Would those lights handle HID bulbs? My goal is to make my HID, but I wonder if it is easier to fabricate something or buy a headlight assembly and throw the bulbs in. Trying to find the cheaper but at the same time good looking. I have already put 1300 into the bike, but kinda went overboard and spend it on name brand. I got a two brothers exhaust, redid my cat by grinding that crap out inside the pipe which made it louder. I also got ASV shorty levers and K&N air filter with a air box mod. I can add pics if you want. But one last thing, could you take some more pics of the front as well as your speedometer to see how you clamped everything together like your turn signals, the headlights, and the tachometer.
