I been waiten to hear that twin glass plus headers! You pulled that off! It sounds Great! Looks like the seat angle came out BETTER than Yama'rs design too!

Sweet intro and I love your forward thinking! Let us know how it rides an all that once you get some time on it!

Again, you have my vote!

PS - resuming Winders, seeing your thread come up ALL WHILE a song cued which I thought was part or "YOUR" bikes theme was this:

Being old I always smile when someone says they modded their bike by changing hand grips or levers or changing the air filter. I think next time someone starts a thread like "modded my bike with a tank sticker" a picture of your bike should immediately be posted.

Job well done.

Sweeeeeeeeeet, as usual for you, very nice work. Personally I am not a fan of the whole street fighter thingy. However the bike looks great.

The swingarm is a piece of cake, direct bolt on, however, the suspension is another matter, it is centered rather than off to the side and requires new mounting points for the shock. I tried to show in the pictures the new top mounting point that I incorporated into the new subframe as well as the bottom, dog bone mounting point that I added to the cross brace. You also need to use the R6 rear brake and mount, as the mounting bracket is different from the FZ6 as well as the R6 rear disc.

Dude...I am speechless. That thing is f*cking bad @$$!!

How does she ride??

The ride and handling are very similar to stock, the minor differences are that it drops into the corners quicker because the R1 forks are about an inch shorter which drops the front of the bike down an inch and changes the geometery of the bike. In addition the R6 rear suspension is stiffer, I'm thinking about trying to find a softer coil spring, but for now I'm very pleased with the ride.
