I pulled the trigger on a business today

All the best in your venture......

You just went from a 40 hour work week to a 100 hour work week - and it will be worth it in the end. Pace yourself and try not to burn yourself out by doing it all on your own!!

Congratulations again

Congrats Top! A man with your drive, determination, integrity and stamina is only destined for success! I hope you hit a bullseye with this venture!

Pete,

That's awesome. My sincere wishes for continued success for you and the Mrs. Prayers don't go unanswered...

John

Good on ya Pete.....being your own boss is damn hard work, but can be incredibly rewarding.

I wish you all the luck in the World!

Congrats on your new business Pete, :cheer:

I wish you lots of luck with your new venture and as has already been said don't forget to ride.

Congrats on your new business venture! May the God's of success shine britely on you! Keep us posted!!

That's awesome man. Someday I wish to own my own business. My dad is a landlord on the side, and I'm going to try to do the same thing when I get out of school, with his help. He's buying up houses right now because of all of the foreclosures.

Good luck and don't be like a lot of the business owners who are struggling right now, because they don't care about their customers/clients.

Congrats Pete, that's awesome! I own my own business and I'll never go back to working for someone else if I can avoid it.
Prepare to have A LOT less time for all the other stuff in life though, and you never get to "leave it at the office". It's amazing how much stuff the owner has to think about that employees never do.
It gave me a much different perspective on work, money, life, it's hard to explain, but it subtly affects the way I look at a lot of the social relations and just things in general. The sense of freedom and the burden of ultimate responsiblity are impressive. Your reputation is everything, gurad it well!

Wow, thats awesome Pete! Good luck.... I hope the new business and the new buell don't take too much time away from the forum!

Wishing you good luck in your new venture Pete.Im sure it will be hard work for the first year or so but just keep thinking of the long time rewards.

All the best fella

Good luck, Pete! Glad to hear you finally made a decision. Send me a PM and I'll see if I know anyone I can send your way. I still have a few business contacts in Austin.

Good luck to you. Bottle of bubbly time.:iconbeer:

Web site?

Not yet my friend. We are in the process of reviewing businesses that are willing to sell. I can't tip my hand yet. Once everything is finalized, 3 to 4 months???, I can't list the web site. My shop will have it's own web site too.

One step closer. As of the 17th we are a corporation! Hopefully in 90 to 120 days we'll be open.
