Hey hardway, I just checked the "show your FZ6 in touring mode" thread, and I know its already getting long, but was your picture taken by morro bay rock? I love to surf at that place ... I go to school there about 10 miles away in san luis obispo. I'm still looking to get my FZ6 as well!

Still waiting to hear back from my mom, but I'd like to do skaggs if possible, haven't been up that way on the fz yet. I'll get back to you asap.

I could get to you place by 10:30 or so if you're free. If not, I could still meet you around noon but we would have to modify our route b/c I'd like to be back in SF by no later than 5:30 PM.

If not, we could skip Skaggs and do some other local stuff that I'm sure you're familiar with. I'm really pretty flexible.

I'm going to be riding on Saturday. Weather looks better than Sunday and my wife has to work all day Saturday anyway. Is this an option for you at all?

Thanks, I'm trying to read and learn as much as possible. I don't have as much time as I'd like to practice, but who does, right?
Right now I'm trying to focus on one thing when I go out and get that nailed, like accelerating evenly through the turn. When I start thinking of all the stuff I've read at once it gets overwhelming and I'm probably doing it all wrong.
I'll definitely invite you when I get a chance for a long ride, I'd love to have someone who knows what they're doing give me some pointers.

Don't take everything you read on this forum as an absolute truth. I would listen most to the writing of the pros and the people you meet and have the chance to ride with (the ones that are good).

Ride safe and have fun! Oh yeah, make sure you invite me when you go out for long rides cause I'm local.
