Hi All,
Running into an issue lately. Tried installing the killernoodle mod (actually its the FZ07 clutch slave lever) and for some reason I can't get the clutch to disengage. Currently the bike is on its center stands. I have the clutch lever and mid adjustment screwed all the way in (mid...
Just installed new mzs levers (cheap from amazon but have good reviews) yes I know I should have got asv but I'm going with them :)
Have greased them up and made sure the nipple is correctly installed In the dimple) Afterwards after reading horror stories and seeing a vid of a dude who said the...
Hello all,
Today while i was swapping Fz7 clutch slave lever, i came across a loose clutch cable. Checked the slave lever spring and cable freeplay but it seems like there should be an other tension directly coming from clutch basket via clutch release shaft that the slave lever is connected...
New clutch - Not enough spring-action... SOLVED!
Installed a new clutch (a set with compression springs, friction plates and clutch plates).
The whole operation was quite easy except refitting the clutch cover onto the pull rod. I followed the steps of the "2004 Service Manual" (around page...
I recently bought an 05 fz6 which was converted to naked by the previous owner using the VS-02 kit sold by dev_usc. Love the look of the bike, only thing I'm not in love with is the mirror setup. It appears the p/o got some R6 mirrors and attached them to the bars with an aftermarket clamp...
Hi All
Well on the weekend while doing a oil/filter change i decided it was also time to put some fresh new clutch plates in. (My baby has 135,000km up and most of them have been hard on the clutch)
So i tracked down a good deal on a EBC Street Racer Kevlar friction plates and heavy duty...
Hello, been looking around for the last few months and decided to join recently. I purchased my 04 fz6 3 months ago and really enjoyed it until I got ran off the road recently. On the bright side I enjoy projects and I'm doing r6 forks and a street fighter look. I like to fabricate (made my own...

Hello,
New rider and owner of a 05 FZ6. Things have been great so far but noticed some wiggle (mainly up and down) in my clutch and brake lever. I don't see anything I can tighten on the clutch side, the brake looks like it will fit an allen wrench up top but unsure.
Any ideas?
I recently had a nasty spill on my 09 Fz6 (nearly got hit by a guy going the wrong way at 75+) and fortunately the damage to my bier was fairly minor. One of the things that got damaged was the left front foot peg. It got completely snapped off and the bracket that holds it in got damaged as...

I've noticed that my clutch lever is REALLY stiff. Just lubed it up today and will see how it performs on the next ride. Do you find that the clutch pull on the FZ6 is pretty stiff?

So I noticed this problem today, my front brake lever isn't 'resetting' itself. There is a push rod in a metal boot that seems like it should be providing more spring force than it is to push the brake lever all the way out. It isn't a problem with actually braking, but it is making my brake...
Low sided my '07 and bent the bars and broke the front break lever off.
If anyone has some laying around, I'll gladly take them off of your hands. (for a monetary donation of course!)
There comes a time when every bike must hit the ground due to operator error! Yesterday the EVIL Gravel took us out! Mind you this is 22,XXX miles and 5 years later and its the first time I've dropped her. :(:( Although I did find her resting on her side once as the centerstand sank in the hot...

A few days I went through the bike tightening any loose bolts/nuts. The clutch lever was really loose so I tightened it. It operated fine for about 50 miles then it started jamming. I was having to physically push the lever out to re-engage the clutch. Luckily this happened only a few minutes...
