Clutch and brake lever have some wiggle?

Hello,

New rider and owner of a 05 FZ6. Things have been great so far but noticed some wiggle (mainly up and down) in my clutch and brake lever. I don't see anything I can tighten on the clutch side, the brake looks like it will fit an allen wrench up top but unsure.

Any ideas?

For the clutch lever, there's a bushing in between the lever and the perch. Sounds like you may have some excess wear there (part #10):

There will be a little bit of play, but the bushing that goes in there should be cleaned and greased occasionally.


For the front brake lever, there's no bushing, the bolt acts directly against the lever:

Both have a nut on the bottom of the perch..
