I've accidentally hit the horn a couple of times while attempting to hit the turn signal.

As long as your bike does not heat up to the point where the "H" over the digital coolant temperature meter starts to flash then your bike is operating within normal temperatures.

I solved this problem with the dual headlight mod. No need to carry any papers and the road is a little brighter with two lows burning.

Mine are set at 5mm. I would say that you should move them up a little at a time, test ride, adjust, repeat till you find a setting you like.:thumbup:

I have 3 of the axle shims and about 30 caliper spacers. I can mail them to ya and my only requirement is that you send whats left to the next modder.

I've noticed a new noise that sounds about like what you are describing. How many miles on your bike? Mine has just over 40,000 miles on the motor.

Just so you know I bought my bike with 9,000 and now have 39,000 miles on it and all thats been done is regular maintenance. If the bike has been taken care of there isn't much to worry about...the engines and everything are pretty bulletproof.

Andz I didn't look where you were located...but now I do agree with you that $50+ dollars for plugs is excessive. Hopefully you can find somewhere that will supply you with plugs for a good deal. I use the stock NGK plugs. Doing a little more in depth digging you can find good deals on them...

Spark plugs are cheap and easy to change, why not spend 15 bucks to make sure you have good plugs?

Looks like its "energy savings" are just in comparison to the Triple Protection and not actually having any additives for it. Note: it says "energy savings" not "energy conserving."

A few more things: Avoid manhole covers/drainage grates and the like. Don't run over Botts dots. Ride a gear higher than usual as it will help smooth out power inputs. Use an old rag to pat dry your chin after riding in the rain.

Most likely the problems you've heard about are due to poor maintenance of the carbon fiber and muffler in general. Like others have said if you leave CF out in the sun for extended periods of time that's bad, combine that with a worn out packing and you are asking for trouble. There are a few...

I've used the Cortech jeans and tested them out at around 10-15mph. The jean materiel shredded instantly but the underlying leather was fine. If you hit anywhere other than the re-enforce areas expect them to rip. Also like some others have said the padding/leather does not fit very well.
