A65 is notorious for unmarked cars; they have an impreza and a Golf GTI as well as the volvo. We always take it easy going up to Devil's Bridge
I ride just to 'his' right so 'he' knows that I'm there and can see me either in his mirror or my bike at least on 'his' shoulder check.
This is why I have asked:
I was travelling home on Friday night, 5.30pm so pitch black but for street lights and a bike pulled onto the roundabout behind...
Yeah, know what you mean...though always thought hating waiting was a girl thing LOL
I got the pipes for my birthday, great excuse for spending lots of money without feeling like you shouldn't have and the bike is my only vice - I don't do shoes and bags and make-up and whatever else girls...
Hey Wobbit, :welcome: I'm a noob too, it's a great forum!
Did you get your zorsts yet? I put Two Brothers (carbon) on mine, they sound awsome! Hope you like yours! :Flash:
No mine doesn't have one either, but if it had, I can't imagine it would be that easy to use; I find replacing the seat tricky enough as it is!
We use these http://www.completeoutdoors.co.uk/images/products/1880/pacsafe85.jpg originally made as you can see for backpackers and they come in 2...
Minus the SV now
I'm not keen on the new XJ6R, it looks kind of odd to me, a bit griffin-like! Loses out to the Fazer in my opinion, not sure why Yamaha would want to ditch such a decent all-rounder...but then Suzuki have done the same with the SV650.
This is me...a tad girly and not at all what I normally look like, I scrub up pretty well don't ya think? LOL
All the photo's I have with me and my bike, I'm fully clad like a Stig-ette
Thanks Cloggy though Hallowed ground??? lol The traffic doesn't phase me, when there's a match on I either stay in or take a back route in the car!
Ah, Rothwell, we're in Middleton. We do the scenic route to Squires, that takes us through Rothwell.
:D Yeah, I know, makes for some pretty interesting looks when my mates ask in public if I'm getting my Fanny out today :D
My fella and I were standing in the queue for coffee at Squires, our local biker bar when a mate walked in and shouted over "Twigs, can you come and show my mate your...
 I like that
I remember my VFR....wanders off onto memory lane....I had the first VFR750F in 1986, brand spanking new, pearlescent white....dropped her in the ASDA carpark 2 days out of the shop!!! Gutted!!! Only cosmetic damage but it used up all my no claims bonus lol
Ha ha I nearly missed this thread :Flash: typical blonde lol
Hello peopley rider types!
I'm Twigs and live near Leeds in the UK. I ride an orange and black naked - that's the bike, not me! :D She's lovely to ride and sounds brilliant thanks to the two brother end cans I had fitted...
My tax disc got nicked too, twice! I reported it and got a crime number, just to be on the safe side. Now I don't display it. I know it's frowned upon but my other half is a police officer and I know that if I was stopped, I'd be checked out by computer and I wouldn't be asked for my tax disc...
Hiya, I'm new to this forum and was quite excited that there was a bunch of people that had taste when it comes to their ride! However, I was amused at the 'Ladies only' section and the interest it had attracted in respect of Lady Bikers.
What a difference in biking culture there seems to be...
