LED's aren't my thing but white sounds like your best bet. headlight modulators are for harley's.....ok for safety but I never really thought of them as a visual enhancement LED tail light is ok but don't do the integrated. You can't see the signals.

being that they look like they are meant for fairing mount I am going with custom. will they even be long enough to see out of once you mount them to the bars? OR.....take off that mount, attach a piece of threaded rod to the bottom (angled), add longer wires, and use a regular bar clamp...

I have the clear alternatives (taillight only) on my bike. The signals are barely visible in the sunlight and generally not legal. I would reccomend (if you really like the LED taillight) to do that separate from your signals. Check your local laws on turn signals, in FL they must be 9 inches...
