I got tried of my hot black seat so took it to a upholstery shop and also added one inch more cushion. I did this to my Kawasaki 3 years ago and is more comfortable and cooler .

It looks like the upholstery shop did a nice job on it!
The extra padding will be nice to have.
I hope it is cooler for you now, too.

Is the pad you show laying on the seat after the mod, the same type of material you added to the seat? You stayed with the OEM foam as the base material?

yes, its the same. the upholstery shop laid it over the OEM foam. the whole job cost only $65 I just didnt want to pay $300-$500 for a corbin or saddleman seat

Not a fan of the color but I understand the function over form mindset.

I will keep this in mind for a custom seat cover for the 'fighter........

Great mod!
