LOL,Australia might still be the lucky country, but our health system is screwed! I pay $400 a month for top shelf health cover and still I sit here after 15 hours and diddly squat is being done.

Good news though, have just spent the last 2 hours with my kids and feel much better now!

No the doctor that called me a you know what put paid to that. I rang the hospital registrar from my bed and made a very polite complaint! Then rang my sister who is like a dog with a bone when she gets angry about something, was here within an hour rattling cages all over the place!

Am very happy to see that your rep has grown in last day mike, i know you dont care too much about that stuff but you deserve it buddy, you have been HUGE support in last couple of days. Way beyond the call! :thumbup:

So, you still relaxing in the Flinders Med Centre? Bugga, was just going to see what you were doing, if ya wanted to have a meal and a couple of beers... I'm stuck here with my daughter and nephew, thought a chat and a beer would go down nice.

Great that you've had some company there, seeing as Superman is back at work now, kids are the best medicine.

And totally agree on the rep thing for him too, thouroughly deserved.

Howly cow man!! Glad your alright. Could have been alot worse.

But your ER sounds like ours. Spend several hours in the ER before getting into a room, then spend another hour in the room waiting on the doctor to get there.

This might make you laugh or cringe at the same time:

One trip to ER I had broke my elboe in an off road race. I wasnt in too much pain but i needed some xrays and such to make sure I didnt get into my growth plates and such. I was in the waiting room with the parents for probably 4 hours sitting next to a girl that had got in a cat fight with here "BFF" who put a writing pen through her left eye...

She got a bit inpatient after she woke up from a nap and still had the pen in her eye. She grabbed a telephone book and her lighter and was going to light it on fire to get some service. When she realized that wouldnt work, she stood up to get her family to assist her in smoking a cigerette. However, she had been sitting on her leg the entire time and her leg had fallen asleep. Welp, you guessed it. She busted her ass.

I laughed on the inside alot!

Hopefully that mad ya laugh a bit.

man I would just about give my left nut to be able to do that. Thanks for the offer and I wish I could take you up on it!

Good news.going for my scan in 5 minutes, being admitted to a ward after that,at worst I will have to have an op and be off my feet for 2-3 months,at best, I get to wear a special boot for a while!

Won't know either way till the morning!

Anyone feel like looking after a dog for a couple of days?

I've just finished putting together a 7 piece outdoor setting that we got "mum" for xmas, my bloody thumbs are killing me... stoopid little allen keys :(
