I agree it needs doing. But sometimes the way on the manual is; well to manual.

Maybe but dang, whats the sense in getting upset with someone for asking how to do something on THEIR bike. I maybe can understand if someone was talking about his bike but....really

Today, I used your link as a guide. It was very useful, many thanks.
It all went to plan apart from the lower Shock sleeve has corroded to the bottom of the shock. I tried spraying a releasing agent on it but, still no joy.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to release it I would be grateful. I don't have access to heat so that route is not an option at the moment.
There was bugger all grease on the Swingarm bolt, definitely worth doing.
I also took the opportunity to scrub the rear end. It was fairly manky.
I don't know that the Zerk installation would work. I am thinking that it would only lube the inner bearing sleeve?
Would it be possible to tap though the swing arm and the sleeve? Or doe's the sleeve rotate within the swingarm?

Oh man, another upkeep item that seems fairly difficult. I'll try to have my trusty mechanic do it, if I can't figure it out. Let's see if FZ6771 calls me a pu**y now ...
One thing that I should have mentioned. I haven't taken the chain adjusters out since I owned the bike (2008). I ride a lot in the wet and the swingarm was full of Aluminum oxide. The adjusters were also in a bad way.
So I took them out and cleaned them up.
