    Circumnavigation of the IJsselmeer NL

Looks like a great trip Cloggy. I'm planning on doing it myself as I will be in the neighbourhood the coming months. What about the trip itself? Does the area suit for em.. 'sportive' riding or is it just tourist cruising?

    "City is my Playground"

Awesome, another great video of Icon. However, seeing videos like this always makes me realise I only use my bike for five per cent of its full capacity.. :D

    What you've been waiting for!!

Looks cool, although I also have mixed emotions about the bike as I don't know whether to hate it or love it. BTW: picture 16, the needle in the exhaust. Anybody knows what this is?

    Metric Manual

@ Mave: Sorry, I thought you just needed the original manual which comes with your bike. I was only able to find the 2007 FZ6 S2 service manual, but am still working on a way how to download/print it (as bringing your laptop in the garage is a bad idea). And after evading tons of spyware and...

    Metric Manual

I got mine right of the Yamaha website: My Yamaha - User Manuals Has the dimensions both metric and imperial. After download, if you save them under a different name, you remove the security and are able to edit/print them.

    Drive chain chatter?

I got the same issue for some time now. Have been cleaning, lubing and adjusting the chain but it doesn't same to go away. Chain and sprockets are not worn out. The fellow riders I talked to told me this isn't an issue, but please don't take this as any 'advice' since I don't know if it's...

    Goodbye FZ6, Hello FZ8N!

@ Cloggy: yes we can subtract EVERYTHING that's bike-related from taxes  My dad even uses my bike as a second deduction, apparently tax authorities don't think it is strange he uses two bikes and two full sets of gear to commute :D :D

    Goodbye FZ6, Hello FZ8N!

Congratulations on the purchase, nice one Bram! Too bad your dealer is in the other part of the country. Otherwise I would have gone and take a look for a swap my self ;). At look at it from the bright side: besides a perfectly new bike, you can have to fun of adjusting everything all over...

Registred as well, thanks for the info Cloggy. My BT023 are still pretty new so still one month left to abuse them ;)

    Motorbeurs 2013,Netherlands

It's a little to far from home and I already made plans for the weekend. Too bad, would be very interesting to get correct info on the latest news in bike manufacturing. And to watch some bikes/babes of course! ;) :D

Any Dutch members willing to a fellow 'murican?

Looks like it is cheaper to buy it from a Dutch website and send it all the way to the US. I found this one: De Oude Leew - Amphora They ask 30 EUR for shipping to the US, but the tobacco itself is a lot cheaper. As I don't know exactly what you/your father wants, this is the best I can...

    europe tour trip from Uk

DannyRose: if you'll make it to Belgium, I am willing to join you there? Please let me know if you have any exacter date for your trip :) Edit: And don't stay too long in Belgium. Although we are a nice country with great beers (more than anyone can handle), riding your bike here basically...

Rossi tries out the new Bridgestone touring tire

Is he driving the 2013 FZ1 Fazer? Nice! Letting Valentino Rossi test a tire is almost the same as proving the effectiveness of an AR14 by shooting with it at an apple. Even if he would drive only the bear wheels he would get around a corner twice as fast as 99% of us :BLAA:

Vosges, France, to shut passes in the weekend to bikers.

Re: Vosges, France to shut passes in the weekend. Please sign E-petition Signed, as it is a very beautiful region to ride your bike (and I'm planning on going there myself again this summer :D). Sadly, this is another example of an action with no clear benefits but only disadvantage for...

    License plate fender delete?

If you are somewhat handy (and what that I mean you know how to hold a hammer, not advanced skills stuff), you easily make it yourself. After looking for one for some time and being a little disappointed about the price I made mine out of some left-over steel I had at home. I don't have my...

    interesting take on lane splitting..

Great video, I don't really get why it is illegal in the US. I live in Belgium (the survey country they mention in the video) and lane splitting in common practice over here. Even more, it is quite normal cagers give you some extra space when they see you coming. Too bad maybe they did...

New guy looking at this FZ6 - Also my introduction

Welcome indeed, you will find a lot of usefull information on here :) As for the bike: looks like quite a deal to me (without having all the information and assuming nothing is wrong with it, just the 'pick it up later' part). He wants you to pay it full in advance/just a part/nothing at all?

    Heroic SP-R Pro S Gloves

Looks indeed a little overkill IMO. I bought these 2 years back: Richa Shock Gloves I can recommend them (if you can still find them somewhere). Touched ground twice without any serious consequences thanks to the protection on the inner palm. And they are comfortable enough for a whole...
