I recently put one on my VFR and wow does this little thing make a big difference! Super smooth accel now. Found it very useful when riding 2 up as well. Highly recommend.

if it's all the why through the clear into the paint, then short of repainting the tank, there is nothing you can do. you could try a tougher polishing compound like McGuires Scratch X or something similar.

Looks great! Might be doing this to my VFR as well. I liked white with silver and on dark winter mornings, it was nice to have that added visibility without looking too 'bling'.

Actually I found the opening of the headligh assembly and installation of the HID projectors to be the easiest part of the whole upgrade! Yes it is involved, but at the same time pretty stright forward. Just don't be in a rush to get it done in one afternoon.
