Turn signals with running lights smoke lens

I just upgraded my front turn signals to rizomas, so putting these up here. I'm not sure of the brand - they were installed by PO. They don't look terribly expensive - probably cycle gear variety - and the video makes them look a tad too bright. View attachment 52822

I've used them for quite some time - I bought this bike in 2010 and they were on it already.
Now, the positives:
They have running light mode (i wish rizomas did)
The resistor is integrated - in the video, I just connected a 12V power supply to them.
