The "Off Topic" thread...

Confusion over.

So these ones:

Are round edge outlet, and Kazza's are oval edge outlet, right?

Hmmmm.. Tough decision, I actually like the look of both of them!

OK.. so here's the plan, in chronological order:

  1. HEL Brake Lines Front and Rear
  2. Scorpion Carbon Round or Oval (undecided)
  3. Arrow Midpipe
  4. PC3
  5. Custom tune? (dad knows someone ;))

Now I've just gotta go earn enough money for all of it :BLAA:

Now that's a nice list of mods....all worth doing to get the best performance from the Fizzer....BMC or K&N airfilter?

:D

I still need to get my bike Dyno'd once I get the front sprocket from the US and the healer installed, but man, when I tried to get a few quotes people were saying 700-900$.
I was like :O.
Also ended up getting the 15T Wolfman, it was just easier than argueing with the people I'd already paid in the US since they had them in stock and sent it the same day!

I'd definately see how you go with the aftermarket exhaust before the midpipe, I was going to get one, but the exhaust is already plenty loud and any louder and I might have issues.

I also got a K&N filter a while back when someone linked a site doing them with a discount, was about 1/3 the price of buying one here!
Is there any difference between the brands?

Yell out when you get your HEL lines, I've been keeping an eye out for a bargain but haven't seen anything amazing so far!

I've got the K&N filter man, put it in when I got the bike

Yeah, it's a really nice bike, so I wanna put heaps into it, plus, I don't have a car to pay for, so it's gotta go somewhere :BLAA:

I was just going to buy the HEL lines off of their Australian website because I need them cut longer than usual because of the Protaper bars.

PS. I like EVERYTHING loud (except **** music/speakers!). But yeah, I might take your advice and get the cans first with the cat left in.

I do my best :D Thats the plan  only place she wont go is Mt G coz a friend of ours was seriously hurt up there & she wont go anywhere near it :( She was talking about a run out through Hampton & back down the Clifton Rd today so we should look at that in a few weeks

Just got back from an awesome ride! 150km's of Twisties with Gazza on his Z1000, and me leading the way on Pinky....roads were great, not much traffic, everything felt good, bike went good, except for the centre stand touching down in corners...bloody OEM suspension...LOL!

We only managed to take out 3 cyclists, knock 2 four wheel drives of embankments, and only one Harley Rider was harmed....

LOL! Just kidding! But it did feel like us against them...was one very funny moment, as i came around a corner at a fair clip, a cyclist was wondering around in the middle of the road, looking for his mate, who he thought was coming behind him...instead he got me...he nearly fell off trying to get out of the way...the look on his face was priceless!

:D

Anyway, just thought i would share....god i love Spring weather!

No riding today - not long back from the hotel.

Mike's watching the rugby league while I have Metallica (cant get enough if them at the mo....) blasting on the ipod while I am lying in my hammock overlooking the beautiful Chittering Valley. Not a cloud in the sky.

God, I love this country and its weather :)
