Yep, Croc's, Reef Oil, and budgie smugglers....especially on the Gold Coast!!! 60 year old men in Budgies, with leather skin, and Croc's, is a very common, and quite disturbing feature of the Goldy!

I had to head to the missus's yesterday, and couldn't fit my wet weather pants into the topbox after all my other stuff, so rather than risk it I just wore them over my draggins.
I greatly dislike leaving any of my gear behind these days! (It was uncomfortably warm when not moving)

I know exactly what you mean Great while your moving at speed but slow down our stop you get hot & restricted :spank:

I solved this problem this morning by buying a pair of these .....

They say they are waterproof & breathable so when they arrive & it rains again i'll review them for you :thumbup: Here's hoping its a solution to our problem & also a great solution to the horrid QLD summer humidity :rockon:

Hehehe, I've got the same pattern Draggin Jeans, and the new guys at work now call me G I Dave after changing into them to come home. They think it's a real laugh.

I just tell them, at least stupid cagers should be able to see me!!! They soon shut up .. lol

Well, got our first snake of the season yesterday, 3ft Western Brown - quite a nasty piece of work. It was eyeing up the baby fairy wrens in our bird bath. Somehow it accidentally got chopped in half by a spade......... don't know how that happened

Bloody thing stayed alive for another hour. At one stage we lost half - wriggled under a rock. Found it eventually.

Thanks to Mike for getting rid of it - freaked me right out :scared:

Nah, that wont happen. You can get them anywhere. We have 8.5 acres, in the bush, 5 snakes in 6 years:

Blind snake (like a giant worm really, not venomous)
Young Dugite - 1 ft, venomous
Python - 4 ft, not venomous
Banded snake - 5" - venomous
Western Brown - 3 ft venomous

The only one that got away was the Dugite, and that was only because Mike was drunk and he tried throwing a rock at it :rof:

My mum lives in Suburbia and has had 4 Dugites in 5 years. I know where I wanna live.........

Lock up your kids Kaz , im no expert on western browns but if they are half as mental as our easterns then there is definately more around Having lost 2 much loved family pets to mongrel browns i'd hate to see you suffer the same pain

And dont listen to any expert or mythbuster , the fact os a chopped up snake staying alive till sundown is TRUE as sure as im sitting here Witnessed with my own eyes..
