Ssshhh!

I've just hidden my straighteners in my OGIO!.... ;)

PMSL....isn't he gonna be a little suss when your hair miraculously straightens itself before you exit the bathroom?...lol.

Have a great trip guys. Stay safe and bring loads of pics.

Well the FZ6 really only uses one of the exhaust pipes most of the time, you could probably hide the straightener in the other one!!!!
Have a safe and fun trip!

LMAO....it still gets pretty warm in the other pipe, maybe stuff a chicken roll, or two in there before you leave, and by lunchtime, you will have warm lunch!

As for your hair straightener...PRINCESS!

:D

Yes I was lurking. Signal is not so good here . Awesome riding here. Heaps of twisties . Might stay a 3rd night. Btw the straigteners saved me. I have long hair and have to plait it - goes curly . Princess I am ;)

Glad to hear you guys made it there, and that no hair curlers were harmed in the process....

Nice to know you are amongst the twisties... Straight roads suck!

Looking forward to some photos of some of those nice twisties you are riding through for the nice roads & rides thread!

Will have to order a screen though - neck is sore.

Bum is sore too - long ride back today, well for me. :(

Hair's straight though... lol :D

The FZ6 seat isn't bad, but even with the gel seat on if I didn't stop often it really got to me!!!
That being said the extra height the gel seat added was actually good for stretching my legs out a bit more on the long rides.

Good to hear you have found a new environmental method of hair straightening, just think of the electricity people everywhere could save!

I went for a ride on my bog stock FZ6 last night, and my arse was hurting after 50km's, as were my wrists....

I reckon the drag bars i have on my black bike, take lots of pressure of the Coaxic area in your lower back...i had sorta forgotten how upright the OEM FZ6 seating position is....

I can ride 1000km's a day on my fizzer, and my arse is normally not too sore...as long as i exercise on the long straight bits....in other words, move about on the seat...keeps the blood moving...

Welcome back Kaz, bet that was over way too quick.

He want's $1500. About 1000 Kms on the clock, blue (I think).

He wants to get rid of it, I think he may budge on the price if pushed.

Hmmm...bit pricey for me.....but i would like to get an old postie bike or something, for hacking around on...leave it wherever i want, etc, etc...

Yea on my long ride last year, I did about 550k's each way, on the way up I had 3 good breaks with a drink and a snack, and got there feeling awesome.
On the way back I stopped once for petrol and made it a really fast trip home, and was extremely sore.
Definately comes down to moving around and taking good breaks to stretch the legs!

Yep, stand up from time to time, let your legs hang on long straights, man, i have even learnt a new one from Mikey recently, put your legs up over your frame sliders for a bit, gives them a nice stretch...and as for breaks, 150-170km's is about as far as i can ride before i start to lose it...

Breaks are the most important thing when touring...
