I'm considering this, but need an honest opinion....

I'm still a noob. This is my first bike and I have about 750 miles under my belt. I even stalled today taking off from a stop light. :( The longest ride I've gone on so far is about 40-50 miles. :surrender:

So level with me here. Am I still too noob for this ride? :D

BTW sasper, I live in Inglewood so I'm in your neighborhood.
that depends on you, like I said in the original post. this is not a race it's just a bunch of guys getting together and having some fun. I talked to poorwboy and I think he was going to lead the ride as I volunteered to ride sweep (meaning the last bike in the group) to make sure no one gets left behind. you're more then welcome to ride with us. just ride your own ride, don't worry about the pace of other riders. we will be stopping pretty regularly along the way for breaks so you'll have plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs. so it's your decision. let me know if you want to go and I'll add you to the roster.

YoungAndDumb -- up to you on whether or not you're ready for the ride, but if you, let me know and you can head out there with me.

Everyone else -- one or two of the guys I usually ride with might be interested in going. What do you think? They don't ride Yamaha's (Buell and Honda) but are cool guys and would have a good time.

I may make a special "guest" appearance, as I'm not from Southern Cal. It depends whether I can get off work early Friday night ( I usually work until 1 am) or I may work even later and ride straight on in.

What's the weather report for that part of California that weekend? They are predicting rain for the weekend here in Las Vegas. Start of the Monsoon season, moisture coming up from the south.

Kudos to VegasRider for the commitment. Yo Vegas, it only looks pretty long and complicated on the screen. Once you hit the road, it won't be as bad as it looks above

I just wanna hear the M4's one last time

Seriously, never heard any exhaust on any bike that i liked that much, ever. not even on a v-twin or triple.

by the way, after watching your m4 youtube vid...just wondering, have you done your airbox mod yet? ? ?
