Okay, the I'm still tossing this handlebar thing around in my head. I like the Variobars, very expensive but an elegant solution. VFR800 Helibars look like they will work too. The problem with both solutions is the FZ top clamp is left sticking up in the air. My plan was to buy a used one off of Ebay, saw off the handlebar clamps, finish them, repaint - etc. Well I got a pair in and not only were they BENT! but the clamps are hallow. Of well...$9.00 down the drain. So my question is...will the top clamp from the R6 fit, the 43mm one? Or are there fork leg spacing issues?
