will R6 Top Clamp fit on FZ Fork???

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the Convertibars. Does anyone know IF a '99 to '02 top clamp will fit on the FZ6 fork assembly? If it does fit this will be the perfect piece to finish off the project. It looks very, very close.

I don't think the spacing is the same, is it?

I think the FZ6 fork legs are slightly farther apart which gives rise to the need for a spacer kit in order to do the R6 fork mod. Maybe it's not the same for 99-02 or I could just be wrong altogether.
