So, I’m new to the forum and looking to post up pics at some point. What site offers the best method of hosting photos and what’s the code to properly attach large photos in the body of your post? I know I could simply attach, but that’s lame.

Thanks for the help-

imageshack.us is good for that. I don't know what's lame about attaching pictures directly to the post (especially since after attaching you can link the images the same way you would from any other host and they'll display in full size).. the only limitation being size.. they get resized to manageable format. Anything larger can screw up the way the page is displayed, so kind of no sense.

Embedding images is very simple:

Code:
[img]image_url[/img]

Thanks!

I guess lame was the wrong word...either that or I don't know much about the flexibility around attaching images. Either way, i'm good!

Thanks-

I use flickr for all my photos. I pay for the use though (unlimited uploands and organization etc.).

If you click on the "INSERT IMAGE" icon when writing a thread reply you will see how to add the url. You can also type the code if you want.

At first I used Photobucket but got tired of the monthly bandwidth for non paying customers so I switched to Imageshack because it has unlimited upload space and no bandwidth issues.
