oem spark plugs, $15 each, expensive?

so i dont have a point of reference. at my local yami dealer the plugs are $15 each after sales tax. is it overpriced? btw i'm at 12,000 miles on original plugs and the bike runs like a dream, especially after i installed a new air filter. i use seafoam so not sure if it's got anything to do with it. what plugs would u recommend? thanks.

That seams high I only payed $9.00 for mine at a smaller bike shop.

CR9EK most likely buy for $9
CR9EIX most likely buy for $11
also all depends on tax because you said with tax. what is the tax rate there? did you get a reciept?
A side note they could be factoring in shipping as well.

you can either get them in a auto parts store or generally they'll order them for you. Considerably cheaper than the MC shop....

As I recall I paid the equivalent of about $15 each when I replaced mine a few months ago. I thought that was pretty steep, but one place quoted me the equivalent of $26!

I've gotten NGK iridium plugs for our application (FZ6) through this reputable merchant two times. $2.00 shipping charge. I see merchant doesn't have a "Buy Now" available but they run about $28-30 for the four plugs.

My local bike shop wanted $10 each!!! So I said no thanks and went to the Autozone or was it Kragen anyway I picked up the exact same plugs for $5 and change each.

I did the same thing but went to O'reily auto parts, I think I only paid about $4

If they don't have em in stock, they'll usually order them for you, considerably cheaper... Got mine the next day...

I don't buy spark plugs from the dealer anymore...

Pay the dealer for the OEM spark plugs. You probably don't realize it but these people who work in the dealer shops have huge boat payments. Do you know how much it costs to maintain a yacht? It's not cheap!

Anybody using Autolite 4302's? They cost less than $3?

I've used Autolite spark plugs on my BMW for years and find they work better than the expensive Bosch or NGK.

I think Royal Distributing is the cheapest in Toronto, I remember paying about $13 each for the CR9EIX, the regular CR9E (? whatever the stock plugs are) run about $10
