Kenny, and you gave me a hard time for posting that article about the "crack down" :thumbup:

glad nobody got tickets. still seems pointless to pull over a whole group for riding obviously well within limits and barely over the speed limit. thats just IMHO, of course.

looks like it was a hot day. i was motivationally challenged this morning, the heat and exhaustion just wasn't calling to me, i'm down to ride with anyone as soon as it cools off a bit out there.

was great meeting the NorCal guys last night, hope you all have a good ride home! great group of people on here, no doubt. :rockon:

Funny thing, as soon as the cop pulled Mark and John over and asked for their identification, everyone started to get their cameras out, and started taking pictures.

I'm sure Officer Peterson felt like a celebrity with all the photos taken! :BLAA:

450 miles was my longest ride in one day...i came back and went to bed..just woke up and looked at the clock, I slept 12 hours!!

Sorry for checking in so late. I am fine, just a bit embarrased... James, (the CHP Officer) was checking your licenses when I got into the CHP truck to cool off but after going back outside and coming back, he mentioned that you were the nicest group of riders he had ever encountered... Probably why you didn't get the tickets :] In fact, he was so nice that he took me all the way from Borrego to the San Ysabel casino. Thanks for letting us join you. Would love to try it again - definately when it isn't so hot. Jeff is having a great time teasing me about being in the back of a patrol car all afternoon and the pictures the icing on the cake :] So I think a :thumbup: is in order for CHP officer James and thanks to the two of you who were caught for speeding so he was there to help me...

Props to Lefty (John) for taking the initiative on this wkd road trip down to Socal... it was great to hang out again after meeting you a few weeks ago! We need to do that once each year and alternate the location between North and South :thumbup:

CHEMIKER and Tailgate: you guys rock for making it down as well. I can't believe that Stacy flew back from Europe the day before riding down to Socal and going through the brutal temperatures yesterday... sick! Travis, I am glad we got to ride together this time!
