Ok here is the list from my brother, I figure most of the forum is about to hit the hay if they havnt already But for those over here and the night owls we'd love to have your company:....
Queens of the Stone Age, Neil Young, Grinderman, Allen Ginsberg, Hunt Sales Memorial and Iva Davies with some excellent Velvet Underground covers, Stones, Bernard Allison, Stevie Ray Vaughan, the recovering Lou Reed, plus Ry Cooder. Oh, and perhaps some Ian Rilen - should be great! Rock is.

Simon seems to have more bluesy stuff this week than I do, I'll have to do something about that in two weeks time
hope you can tune in

Doyle Bramhall
Frank Zappa
Luther Allison
The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue
Lou Reed
Son Volt
Menahan Street Band

What a line up.... I have over half an hour of Zappa's music this week, some may say its a bit indulgent but then again I have selected some great tracks, (even if I do say so myself) Simon and I are both doing Bluesy... Jazzy... Rock,
in no particular order..... lots of big brassy sound with some bitchen guitar thrown in for good measure, this is going to be an excellent line up, listen in if you get the chance!

and brother Simon has just added his comments to the shows Face Book page:

https://www.facebook.com/ComfortablyNumbRockAndBlues?hc_location=stream

...and further to Ade's post...lots of rock, blues and that brassy sound that so makes you warm and fuzzy. I have some excellent stuff for a cold winter's nite, with Midnite Oil (is a comeback in the wind?), FZ, Bamboos, Chicago, the Rolling Stones fresh from Glastonbury this week, Harem Scarem, and some Lou Reed, plus punk stuff with Coachwhips and Tyvek. Oh, if the parcel arrives in time from Amazon I'll toss in some tidy blues courtesy of Buddy Guy and Son Seals. Hope to have your company from 6 this Thursday nite, 94.1fm. Rock is

So my Bro is quite crook and certainly not got a voice for radio so the whole show is mine tonight
see below for the extended set list, Kazza I reckon you'll like the inclusion of 20 minutes of Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute and covers of Clapton stuff by SRV
