Ok folks its been a while since I did a show, a month in fact.

missed the show a fortnight ago I was getting some Keb Mo action at the corner hotel- research you might say.
anyway there is some pretty good stuff in my mix for this week, including George Kamikawa, a Japanese busker who is the most incredible bluesman and a new young band the Asmatics, I caught them last Friday night at Penny Black, garage rock at its best...

Banjo Boogie Blues Otis Taylor
I Got A Woman George Kamikawa
Shake Your Gumbo Cyril Neville
Bad Weather Blues Bondi Cigars
Help Me (Live) James Cotton
City Girl Michael Bloomfield
Come On in This House Elvin Bishop
Highway Man Anson Funderburgh
Johnny Gone Johnny Copeland
Late At Night The Subdudes
zombies The Asmatics
Monkey See, Monkey Do The Budos Band
Drivin Home The Dan Rumour Band

......and I'm sure brother Simon will have his rock selection brimming with excellence as usual

so 3WBC 94.1FM Whitehorse Boroondara Community Radio Melbourne
is the place to tune into 6-8pm Melbourne Australia time

Sorry no recording this time. My internet service has been unreliable the past few days and I only managed to record a few random minutes of the two hour show. :(

Ok folks its about 10.30 on Monday night for me so about to quit for the night,
7_11_5.gif
but Tuesday night I am putting together the show for Thursday, featuring the Asmatics again and Plains, a couple of young bands from Melbourne. I am also going to feature some music I picked up at the Apollo Bay Music Festival last weekend.
So the playlist goes together tomorrow night,

I have a bit of room for some requests, and for those that are interested I think Simon is playing Freebird, the long live version and of course some uncle Lou and maybe some Frank Z,

I'll post up the set list before I go to bed tomorrow
cheers folks

Ok folks here is the set list, most of this is from the Apollo Bay music festival from this and the past few years as well, I am throwing in Jimi Hocking, Plains and the Asmatics coz they are either local and worth a good listen or young new bands and deserve to have some air time.
So an all Aussie show form me this week
I know Bro Simon will have an interesting list too, including the long live Freebird- well worth a listen!
I hope you can tune in 6-8 pm this Thursday night
