Ok this week folks I think I'm getting the whole two hours to myself.
Simon was going to get me to panel the whole show anyway, but this morning, apparently he doubled over in pain:eek:( anything to get out of a meeting) and was rushed off to hospital, he has a massive kidney stone and then they found a cyst on his other kidney, so under the knife he goes.
I am programming the whole show tom night, rock n blues, any all suggestions welcome I"ll raid my rack see what meets with your requests.
Bear in mind there will be lou reed, there will be frank zappa, I might chuck in the roots ,QOTSA,maybe some ac/dc

I hear he is on morphine, so with a bit of luck he is comfortably numb at the moment

Nelly
:eek:Closet fan:eek:

I'm more of a fan of the older stuff like Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Doors, Bowie, etc. Some of the stuff you listed is not appealing to me (Zappa, Reed) but they have their fan base.

Iron Butterfly too (their one hit) or my favorite road songs by DP - Highway Star and Space Truckin'... love Highway Star!

Or one of my favorite easy songs... Dire Straits, Brothers In Arms.

And what a fantastic choice it is

While we are on Mark Knopfler , how about this little pearler with Emmylou Harris
