Chemiker is a poser for the day

And BTW Chemike, - what's up with her???

You let a person become a member of our distinguished forum, - and she goes off calling another member (who just happens to be her hubby) a crazed abnormal???

:justkidding:

LOL good point. I signed her up so that she could follow the thread and comment if she found it necessary.

You mods can ban her if she says anything inappropriate about our love of bikes :D

Beautiful chain! I like mine like that also. If there are other bikes I always look at their chain and all of them are dirty. Mine is out of dealer status. :D

No way has that bike ever been ridden:thumbup: It's far too clean and shiny. I reckon you just got a picture off the Yamaha website and superimpsed it on your drive.

But if I'm wrong, how the hell did you do it? The metal on the downpipes isn't even discoloured???

+1! looks like it just came off the showroom floor.

Looks great to me Travis. I'm like you, I like my bike clean. Looks like a beautiful day in SJ too.

One extremely clean bike, nice work!

Mrs. Chemiker should not worry even though there is allot of us. Just check now and then if there is a golden ring around the left grip :Flash:

Mrs. is right... you're relationship with the bike is beyond normal and after this cleaning and this thread, I regret to inform you, Travis, that your man-card has been suspended.

Now, get her flowers and take her out and spend twice as much time with her as you did with your toy.

Did you clean under the front sprocket cover? The bottom of your kickstand is scratched and dirty....slacker.

I did not clean under the front sprocket cover. I'm afraid that I'll have a breakdown if I take it off but don't have a -1 sprocket to put on while I'm there.

I have no excuse for the kickstand :shame:

LOL, based on that poser thread, I'm one of them today. Spent more time polishing the bike than riding it, but it really needed it. I've ridden all winter in the rain and grime without washing it since there was no point. Now that the weather seems to be getting better I gave it a deep-clean today. Soooooo nice.

Anyway, I told Mrs. Chemiker that I think the chain is cleaner than the day I bought the bike and asked her to look at it. She said that I have an unhealthy relationship with the bike and wanted to know that there were other people like me.

My task from Mrs. Chemiker: Post pictures of my chain and get 15 people to comment positively on it to convince her that I'm not abnormal. Please respond to this thread with any comments about my chain so my wife stops thinking I'm crazy!!

Thanks!
Travis
