about the kill switch. all I know and can contribute is that they are always required for track days. it's a lot easier to swat at the kill switch then to grab the key if and when you're leathers are caught in the chain/sprocket about to chew you up.
I may be missing something, but WHAT are you talking about? Tires being hard to come by? mail = reject?
this is TOTAL stealership BS. Ask anyone who goes through a lot of tires where they get them and why. shyt, take offs are a huge black market biz alone. STG, 2 days to my door time and time again and with the lowest prices on Mich ANYWHERE!!! The most down time I have is waiting the 30 minutes it takes to swap the rubber.
Why would I pay you $400+ to mount some pilot powers when I can get them from STG for $240 SHIPPED and have them mounted for $20 to $40 each (worst case cause I usually get them mounted for FREE at the track or by a friend). And don't give me a line about "time = money" because that's the most misunderstood cliche I'm aware of.
And if you think I trust someone else to wrench on all of those important parts of my bike while I'm not watching more than I trust myself you're mistaken. I care about my bike and my safety more than anyone else...you forget to factor in the time it takes to check over the bike and fix the mistakes the 20 y/o punk made when he was putting the wheels back on.
man, you upstate NY people really get to me...haha
