Adjusting rear damper for weight?

When I purchased my FZ6 last night the PO said something about adjusting the rear damper for my weight? Is this something I should do? He was about 150, I'm 210.

Definitely. If your bike came with the tool kit, you'll see a crescent shaped spanner. That will fit in the notches on the rear shock (under the seat)

Have a look at what it is set to (number), as at 210 + gear, I reckon you'd want it at 5 or 6. (I have mine on 7!)
