Hi. Recently I got my rear tire changed and after that I was hearing a squeaking noise from the rear wheel . The noise was more pronounced when I was engine braking and when I was doing low speed left turns. Today I removed the rear caliper and I found the problem. It seems that the disk is not centered in the slot of the caliper carrier. It it slightly touching on one side and on the other side there is a big gap. I attached some pictures to be more clear. I also took out the wheel and everything seems fine, so I do not understand, what can be the root cause of this misalignment?

Model: FZ6 S2 ABS 2010

Today I did some more checking. The caliper bracket does not have any signs or dents to show that it was tightened while it was not in the correct position. I also put the bracket on the wheel while it was out and I pressed it so it sits perfectly parallel to the face of the wheel spacer and the gap with the brake rotor was even on both sides. I mounted everything back and tightened the axle with the wheel on the ground ( bike not on paddock ) and now the noise is gone. But the gap between the bracket and the rotor is still smaller on the outside ( so the disk does not sit centered). Is this normal, or the gap should be even on both sides? How it is on your bike?

I would also unlock the the rear axle and check that the rear wheel is properly aligned. Could it be the rear wheel is far askew?
