A couple of weekends ago I went on a trip to Scotland with a (large) group from my work (about 40). We travelled over on the DFDS Ferry from IJmuiden to Newcastle on the Thursday evening and slept on the boat. On the Friday morning we threw our overnight bags in the bus which was our support...

Hi all
I am replacing my caliper seals due to a bit of drag I can't rid off. Unbelievably expensive!! They have come with a little pink sachet that looks like a lube type substance. I would normally just put a bit of grease on them but is that what the pink sachet is for instead??
Thanks
Adam
So, does anyone know the length of the stock can from the inlet to outlet? I have been toying with the idea of new cans today and this would be good to know. I don't mind an exhaust a bit longer but I don't want it sticking out 6 inches behind the bike either!
Yesterday I did a track day at VIR. It was the first open track day for me on the bike as the first two were with CSS and were more focused on learning than just going fast. I was in the novice group with the lowest horsepower of any bike out there, but I knew most of the course which helped...
Hi Guys
I purchased a Delkevic exhaust system for my 2007 just about a month ago. Although I love the exhaust compared to the stock set up, the system is just a bit too loud for me. Does anyone out there have an aftermarket system that's a bit quieter than they'd like? If so, I'd be...
Heya folks. Noticed an issue recently where if my throttle is at a certain position while riding the exhaust sound gets really sputtery and choppy, and I end up losing speed (RPMs get 'stuck' and slowly decrease) unless I let off a bit or increase it. There seems to be a discernible dead zone in...
Just got a pair of Michelin Pilot Road 4 on the FZ6 and happy with them , but just wondering if it's just me or do any other PR4 owners feel them to be a bit heavy when going into corners ?
Seems like the bike leans to a certain point then feels heavy/ more of an effort to lean the bike any...
Custom Fairings - Looking For Input!
Stumbled across a picture of a beautiful looking FZ1 with some fairings.
Then I found...
And it was love!
I've been debating a purchase of fairings for some time now, and I'm a bit torn. I want to keep some of the aesthetics of the FZ6 in the 'naked'...
Hello everybody!
Newbie from CT here! I've been on and off bikes for a few years, spent a lot of time off and last summer decided to jump back in. Started out with a Ninja 650 - great bike to get my confidence back, but not exactly a ton of fun.
Friend was selling his low miles 2004 Fazer and...
As the title says, I finally got around to smacking in a PC3 today which I purchased from our very own petergreko!
Got the wiring hassle out of the way and everything into place, fired it up and threw the map in (got it from Hellgate, since his setup was nearly identical to mine and didn't seem...
As many miles as I've logged on a bike and I've never actually picked out tires. On my last bike I just went with what was on there because they seemed good (perelli sport demons). Now the Dunlop Q3's on my recently acquired FZ6 are 5 years old and, tread or not, in need of replacement. The vast...
Okay, so I'm a bit confused here... I replaced my stock chain last season when it had around 40,000 km on it, I was seeing red dust periodically on surrounding parts and under the sprocket cover. I did consider the sprocket spline shaft itself, but ruled it out.
So I installed a new x-ring...
How are Pazzo esque levers in comparison to the stock ones? Between the heavy clutch pull having all the bite at the end of the lever, I always feel like I'm blundering my shifts. I've lubed the cable properly and it helped a bit, but due to the nature of where my fingers have to extend to in...
I was just wondering if anyone has figured out an economical highway peg solution for stretching out a bit on longer rides? I know you can mount foldable pegs on engine guards or crashbars, but that increases the price dramatically. Is there a quick and easy way to bolt on some pegs or mount...
Got the good lady wife to take some pics of the bike today and she took a little vid as well. Tis kinda shows the hyperlites right at the last bit of the footage.
Hope it posts ok this is the 1st youtube clip I ever loaded

Howdy,
I'm in Sydney and thinking about putting some mufflers on the bike. I've drilled them, and it's a bit better but still sounds , well, you know.
Anyone got anything to sell?

So I've been working on a project bike for about a year now, I'm at the point where its just loose ends to tidy up before its done. Since its a vintage bike and a bit of a mod/restoration I've had to be a bit creative with parts that aren't available anymore/wont work with the things I've done...
Went to visit my girlfriend last night. Parked the bike up on a little bit of the walkway that juts out into the parking lot. Said extension houses a white box that controls what would have once (it's been broken forever) controlled the gate and bar that blocks it; that's where I parked.
It...
Heya folks, really glad to be here and moreso than that I'm excited to get out riding this new bike of mine come spring. I picked up a 2008 FZ6 with only 11,000KM on it from an older rider who seems to have taken really good care of it as far as I can tell. There's a tinted windscreen, HID...
