Howdy,
I'm in Sydney and thinking about putting some mufflers on the bike. I've drilled them, and it's a bit better but still sounds , well, you know.
Anyone got anything to sell?

Looking to have a better sounding ( but not too noisy) exhaust. Open to brand.
Happy to buy from overseas.

Hey Jonathan,
I've been thinking the same thing for a few years now...
Costs here in Oz make it a hard decision.

I drilled mine first, then paid a guy to cut the guts out, cost about $300 total and sounds good enough for now.

I have been looking at these:
https://www.dan-moto.com/DM_INT/ind...ucts_id=1311&zenid=62c072aseeks36ehtktg8q2423
There are a few youtube clips that sound good too.

I would prefer Leo Vince or 2Bro's, but cannot justify the cost.

Let me know if your interested, I'm on the fence but might pull the trigger if we can group buy (possible discount??) or share shipping costs etc.
Maybe there are other Aussie's who would be interested in a group buy???

Either way, good luck with your upgrade.
Cheers,
Mac.

Thats a bloody good deal Mac,have a look at the Delks too, great prices on them and they have an OZ dealer.

Thanks OZ,

Do you have a link for the local dealer?
I can only see a UK site, and the SS pipes there are $480 aud.... (Carbon are $680).

The Danmoto's look bloody good for $340 aud!

Cheers,
Mac.

LV can be had for less than A$600 delivered ( from my ebay searching). I like the carbon ones though!

Hi. We have some for sale. Check my post from about five mins ago (quoted below)

Ken

Hi all,

We recently sold our 2008 FZ6S and had to return the bike to standard to get it passed registration. This was simple as it just had some really sweet aftermarket mufflers on it.

The guy we sold the bike to didn't want the mufflers so they are now for sale in their own right.

They are Two Brothers Carbon mufflers with all the bits to put them on your bike and are located in Australia.

Normally these sell for around $950-$1000 AUD and have only done around 1500 kms on the bike. You can see what they look like at the URL below. I can post some actual pics up should there be some interest on this forum.

Two Brothers Racing :: Yamaha FZ6 Exhaust Systems

Let me know if you are interested and we can discuss the details.

Ken
