Congratulations!!! Smart man – have the bike first (speaking from experience, it’s harder to talk a wife into one).
The only advise I can give, patience and communication. After 5 years (drop in the bucket) we’re still working on it and it proves a HUGE success every day.
Just turned 30 in September - my FZ6 was my birthday gift to myself after not riding for a few years (try 8)!
It was the first bike I saw while looking back in April and I fell in love - it's a tumultuous and involved love story, but I'll spoil the end for you...it ends with the guy...
OK Here’s what I have for this post: I purchased my FZ6 from a guy who is all around smaller than me and I can’t wear any of his gear – shame for me cause most of this is really nice. I have a few items to post – this will be my first attempt since I can’t seem to find anyone local (more to...

Thanks and I'll post some pics when the project manifests...
New gun, yes. I didn't think about mixing paint - just don't know what to expect from 'can spaying' parts. I found cracks on my rear seat handle and front fender after cleaning. I'm looking to see what suggestions I can gather from trying this on my own.
Hello Mod'ers -
I wanted to see if anyone has tried to paint various/any bike parts with a Wagner Airless Paint Gun before. I know it spatters out at times, but I think that could be an easy fix (re-sanding - re-painting) and would help to conserve some cash.
Anyone have some thoughts...
