I dunno. I looked at that and thought it looked like a bit much effort and $$. I bought a keychain size door opener and put it on the ring with my bike key and house key and I'm good to go for about $30. No problem operating the button with gloves on either.

FZ1 bars just put the emphasis on "sport" for our sport touring bike. Best mod I've done. My back and neck won't let me ride a full on sport buke (R6), but by swapping to the FZ1 bars I get day-long comfort, better handling and better looks to boot!

Always helmet, gloves and jacket with jeans and leather shoes. If it's a "dedicated ride", which I would define as riding for riding's sake as opposed to riding to a local restaraunt for lunch, then I add pants and boots.

No kidding! I'm 6'5" and got the FZ6 as my first bike at age 48 (by which time I perhaps have better control of my right wrist ;)), but my biggest problem is that the bike is sooo perfect for me, it seems impossible to find an overall better package to trade up to! Even the FZ1 doesn't fit me...

6' 5" and 230. FZ6 fits so well, every time I look at something else I give up the idea of a new bike. Only other bike that fits me better is Honda VFR. Except for cruisers, but if cruisers were all there were to motorcycles, I would have stuck to my bicycle. :justkidding:

Try blacking out your radiator guards. IMHO it's the best appearance mod you can do for $5!

+1. I rode the ST on a demo day. Fizzer puts the emphasis on sport, ST puts the emphasis on touring. Just seemed too "grown up" for me (even though I'm a pentagenarian). Bear in mind, though, that impression comes from a very limited, supervised demo ride.
