He has a brake pedal above the gear lever. The brake pedal itself is also incredibly short, probably half an inch?
You can actually see it in the first few seconds of the clip.
A few of you may have seen photo's of a guy named Alan Kempster. Some may have seen the article in the latest AMCN. A double amputee who not only decided to get back on a bike, he wanted to go racing
Here is a short clip about Al. A truly inspirational man.

Welcome to your new addiction
Are you riding to the track or towing the bike on a trailer? If you have a trailer, use it. If you don't have one, try to borrow or even hire one. This way you can pack all the gear that you will need throughout the day.
Try to do as much as you...
Ripperton made an electric bike in his garage. He has also entered it in a few eBike races here in Australia & won!

Here it is scaring crap out of a few people at an Eastern Creek track day. But they weren't expecting that...
Some bloke by the name of Chris Vermeulen will be lining up on the grid in place of Colin Edwards who is out with a broken collar bone (good one Randy :().
Next GP is Le Mans where it just so happens CV took his only GP win. Should we all pray for rain?

Far out!
That is value. I went to the Estoril GP in 2007 & from memory it cost me 70 or 80 Euro for a 3 day pass, although that was in a grand stand.
I'm extremely jealous, enjoy
That thing is a weapon for sure.
I saw Shaun racing it at the Barry Sheene Festival of Speed last month.
There are a few of them going around but THAT bike is the bees knees. Just ask Robbie Phillis.
Katana's are the weapon of choice at the moment with Giles, Martin, Phillis & Pace all...
Ummm it must have forgotten that bit. No one likes a braggart :D
Thanks Jamie.
Class win for the meeting & leading the championship after 1 round.
The only way is down from here :rof:
Foam inserts in the back of a jacket won't be much help in a decent impact.
Ive not ridden a bike without wearing a back protector for years. No ride is too short.

I sold my FZ6 for $1900 with 120,000 on the clock. That was priced to sell & not negotiable.
That was a bog stock bike, no after market pipe, screen, rearsets etc. Oh hang on....... I put heavier Race Tech fork springs in it.
I also did a lot of the maintenance myself & didn't supply a...
Depends on how the bike is running.
Not really a name but I do talk to it. My bike can be quite temperamental.
It varies from "C'mon Baby" to "C'mon you heap of of s**t" :D
The FZ6 has departed the garage unfortunately. Sold her with 120,000km & from what I hear is still going strong.
Currently have an 03 GSXR600 & 96 GSXR750 race bikes in the garage.
Don't forget to mention Colin
Honorable mentions to all those riders before us who slid across the track on their arse. Tough conditions & mixed results. Glad I wasn't out there :D
Im in  Nice work guys.
I actually logged in today with some unhappy news. The FZ6 & I are no longer an item. She now sleeps under the roof of another man :(
We had some good times & we had some great times. I rode that bike in all kinds of snotty weather & the only time I was...
Wow there is some funny stuff in this thread. Perfect for a Sunday arvo.

That was the business.
500cc strokers were beasts to be feared. 250GP racers who made the step up to 500s did so with great trepidation & they were usually highsided half a dozen times before the half way point of their 1st season.
These days riders step up from Moto2 or WSBK & are on the...
