NICE!! I bought a Vortex (17) at the begining of summer but was afraid to change it because one day while waxing my chain, I noticed that the speedo was reading speed with the front wheel not moving.
So how far off is the stock speedo?
I am not one to buy into warrantys but the way my salesperson explained it to me: if you get a flat on the road you just call the # and they will come and get you for free and get free new tire or wheel if needed for no cost to you. I liked that idea. The other thing he told me was to make...
I voted wrong. I did ride an r6 last summer. I had the opportunity to ride a freind of a friends bike. All I can say is that after a 5 mile run, I was on one hand thrilled but on the other hand; I knew I wouln't want to make any long trips on this bike. I would like to take another ride on a...
Good info, thanks. Scary stuff. One minute youre cruzin down the road and then before you know it, you are spending the next 8 years of youre life recovering.

you should be able to change the front sprocket (cheap) and without adding any links to the chain. I'm not sure on the fz6 but when I had my ninja 250 I went up 1 tooth on the front and down 7 on the rear. In the case of my ninja that was geared way to low, it made an incredible difference...
I have always used a soft brush and bucket of warm car wash soap (no dish soap). Pre wet with the hose and rinse with hose after wash. I like to use my back-pack blower to dry off good.
