Im selling my 07 fz6..blue..13000 miles, its been laid over ..dent in the tank,some scuffing on the fairing..but runs great..regular oil changes,good tires and new battery. Im thinking of asking around 3000$..but considering offers if any ones interested..(Im in Texas)does that seem like too...

wow thanks for posting those pics and vid..oh I think I like that :rockon:..Ive never been on a track before, how does it work? do you just show up with gear and bike and get on the track.. do they charge you or what? do the 600s go on with the 1000s

The last few nights after taking hour long rides, when I come back I notice a faint burning smell coming from the front of the bike.. I checked my oil and coolant levels and everything is right..The bike is not overheating when Im riding..anybody have experience with this?

You know I had to run a new pilot on the rear while I had the stock bridgestone on the front with around 9000 miles on it.. it was well below the wear mark, at the time I simply couldnt afford to get a new tire for the front, but the rear was showing cord..I still rode pretty hard ,and it worked...

did you have to do any major modifications to get those forks to fit..is it as simple as pull the stock forks out and slide those in with stock trees?

I would love to hear how the fz8 fits into this conversation..anybody rode one?

Ive got the same year model and same color..Ive been thinking about selling too, mines not nearly as clean though.. I gotta ask how you got those header pipes lookin so shiny... mine are all oxidized, did you clean them up with anything?

Thinking about having that done on my gas tank.. its already dented and thought I might fill in the dent with something and then powdercoat.. anybody tried it?

Had mine out 2 weeks ago(leaky fork seal).. if by progressive you mean the spring is spaced farther apart near the bottom(and closer together at the top) then yes they are..

"20hp gained LOL: So I have been experience really bad hand cramps and outside palm pains from 30 min rides lately. So i bought the FZ6R bars to alleviate the pain. Taking off my old grips my throttle grip slid off very easily with a bunch of goop under and inside of it..................So guess...

This may be enough to send the wind up over your helmet..(cant say for sure though) its a couple of inches taller than stock.. I tend to lay over the tank alot and this put me completely out of the wind..but I like the look of the shorter one and yes still for sale..I should mention I removed...

Ive had this same problem on my 07.. it happens when it gets really hot.. checked the fan, its working..when im pulling up to a light and pull in the clutch it just quits, starts right back up

well after I got them off the right front fork (the one that was leaking) looks ever so slightly bent..the bike had been layed over on that side when I got it, but i never really looked that close at the forks.. now Im wondering if I should rebuild them anyway...or look for some new forks...

yes Ill be replacing the oil..just curious how did you hold your bike up with the forks off? Cant put anything underneath because of the exhaust?

Thanks for that link..I came out .85 which is exactly what the set of springs are that i was looking at..so if stock is .77 then I can expect a softer ride? Everybody thanks for the input it really helps..first time taking forks apart .. I hope its easy

Im more like 165.. its written like this 0.85 mm/kg..not gonna do alot of track riding just in the street..touring..
