I want something that I can get low on and not worry about it sliding out from under me. At the same time I need a good riding tire. I dont want to have to replace the tire every 2500 miles. My Avon tires are ok. I feel as if I can not lean too much with them.

What mirrors if any has anyone put on their FZ6? I hate the huge factory mirrors and want something more sporty? Any suggestions?

I have heard that you can replace the factory FZ6 mirrors with mirrors from an R1 for a more sporty appearance. Has anyone else heard this or done it? If so, does anyone have pics? Any info would be appreciated!:thumbup:

So I purchased my bike in July 09 at which time two new Avon AV56 tire were put on. Well, I hit a nail and have plugged the tire. I now have to refill the tire every two days. I am looking for some new tires and need recommendations. I see so many reviews, but I would like to get advise from FZ6...

I am new to the forum as well. I purchased my 2008 FZ6 in July 2009. I do not get to ride as often as I would like due to work schedule, kids, etc. I joined the forum in hopes to get first hand advice, opinions and photos to assist in making my FZ6 into my own personal style.:Sport:

I have the Joe Rocket MantaRay XL and it fits well, stays on great and has sufficient room for cell phone, beverage, etc. All that is really needed for a day ride.

I went with the Puig all black. I tuck from time to time, but can see over the windscreen even then. I do agree that it looks less sporty and more touring. The Puig windscreen is taller than the factory.

I agree, it is different for everyone. I feel better on a left turn. Either way I will take a curvy road over a straight one any day.
