Under the tank, on top of the battery, there are four slot connector openings. I know at least one is not switched and at least one is. The one that is switched has connectors already in it, but I found there was sufficient room to shove two more smaller slot connector tabs in there. This is...
I use the same practice all the time. Even though most of the time I return stuff it is to walmart and they do not care. I just try to open the bottom and return it with as little damage done as possible, with no questions asked. I wouldn't call it stealing, fraud maybe, but not in the sense...
Until very recently I worked at Best Buy as a college student. I did Loss Prevention, so I did not have to try and sell people stuff they did not need like most of the employees. I was either really nice or really mean to people in the store, mostly really nice though.
Before working there...
I have to ride to work and do not have a car. There are thunderstorms, tornado warnings, and lightning, lasting through the night. I am from the lightning capital of the world; however, I have never before now contemplated riding a motorcycle in a lightning storm. Am I safe? I am sure its...
Just got off the phone... I am definitely moving to Miami.
I already have my pistol, and I plan to get a CCW license eventually. I wonder if I could keep it under the seat until then. BTW, is it safe/wise to store a handgun under the seat of the FZ6? I would hate for the rounds to overheat...
I am looking to move to the Miami area very soon, but after driving there yesterday I am apprehensive about having a bike as primary transportation.
I drove for about a total of 1 hour in a rental car. I saw 30-40 cars run red lights, like so red the other light was green. Saw a school...
Good idea. Although, I prefer not to check anything.
There is no way I would leave my $200 jacket laying on the bike. I might lock the helmet though, put gloves and radar detector under the seat.
Which of the two I do will probably depend on the weather... thanks guys
The mirrors you speak of are very prevalent on cars in Europe, I loved them. Awesome for driving on the Autobahn in Germany and the Autopistas in Spain. You can see normally behind you and then see all the lanes on the 10+ lane freeways on the far end of the mirror. I have never seen it in...
Tomorrow, I fly out of the small local airport at sun-up and get back at sun-down, same day. I can park in 24 hour parking up front, w/o a problem assuming there are spaces left. I plan to have a normal sized, mostly empty backpack and that is it. My two options are motorcycle or taxi. If I...
I have the BD harness and plan to do it. However, I enjoy riding the thing too much. No one has ever flashed me and I always have my brights on right now. When I am behind someone on a dark road, especially in a car, I turn it off because I feel bad because it blinds the sh*t out of them.
Hot and Cold, Dry and Wet, and cheap? Thats like a good looking woman that can cook, and is smart and funny, and single... that never happens. It will be hard to find something that is perfect for everything, but you can surely find something that is decent for almost everything.
I have the...
I used to drive a stick car, so I have a decent feel for the clutch I guess. In a car you roll back for a second then get going. If I encountered a really really steep hill then I would use the back brake, I suppose. However, I basically start letting out the clutch and front brake at the...
Fair enough. Luckily, I refuse to ever own a van. :p
(That smiley face is kind of "gay", but I think out of the ones available it most accurately captures my childish attitude in the above remark)
I wonder if the engine is still good... I did not realize that the lower intake manifold leaking would also cause coolant in the oil. It would still run... it would just get hot real quick and overheat after running for more than a few minutes.
I will probably just fix it and sell it...
Just to give you some more info. These motors are notorious for leaking intake manifolds. I had the coolant flushed and it began leaking immediately afterwards. I had the bike and did not care about the car much (I hate this car), so I just kept topping off the fluid. I think I let it get...
This is for people that know more about cars than me.
I have been working on my car little each day for like two weeks now... and finally got the cylinder head off (well on one side). I was just wondering, is there anything else I should check while I have the engine taken apart?
It is a...
