My FZ6 Packed and ready to go!!!

Don't bother, I am 6' 2" and brought the 11" high and it flows the wind at a point that it sounds like a freight train. The way the screen angles back it deflrcts the wind right into the helmet. I did get the touring screen from Yamaha and its quiter. It's the angle of the faring mount.

Thanks for letting us know about the lowers being available. I just ordered the and will Have my son Paint them to match my bike. I just could not see paying almost a $1k for OEM. These are $258.48 with delivery. Don't know how long it will take to get here and painted. will post pictures when...

I just look in my mirror to see if it's clear, signal and go. You can always out excellerate a car if hey ty to speed up,,

I never do, You would not do it in a car so why would you on your bike?? It only takes one A__ H___ to put you down, so it's not worth it to me.

Put the flashers and flash your brake lights quickly!!

Thats what they made heated liners and gloves for. I there is no snow or ice on the road I will ride. Just so long as it's slippery....

from nuturel you go down to first gear, as you drive the bike you should be able to shift uo 5 times, first up is 2nd, then 3rd, 4th, 5th and finally 6th. I also own a 08 and it is a 6 speed. Hope this helps.. You will learn as you look through the forums.

I have the GIVI V46 tail case and it is as solid as a rock. No movement at all at any spead or load. Excellent item to have and has lots of room.

My bike will not start unless in nutural. It's a pain if/when I stall in traffic and have to place in nutural to start my bike. I understand if the clutch is out, but not while holding it in. Any Ideas????? Thanks

I am an older guy also and I would'nt give up my 08 FZ6 for any bike. Whether on the highway or country road this is an awsom bike, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.:thumbup:

No this is my second bike, been a long time between. I had a Seca 650 in the early 80s.
