Not at all. I drive at 2 to 3 thousand revs trying to keep it low and economical, while the Fazer has to rev and I'm trying to use the engine in the torque/power range. Without looking at the rev counter I'm getting my ears accustomed to the sound of trying to get it to 12000rpm but changing...

Don't just plug the tyre and expect good performance. Remove the tyre from the rim and examin the punctured area. If the fibre is undamaged place a patch over the hole and the tyre will still be good enough to commute with but I would avoid track day on it.:thumbup:

The plastic bits are cheap and easy to replace (I've replaced the fairing and bars, mirrors, indicators and screen twice, (my own fault once and a drunk's the next) The tank can be repaired. As long as she goes OK - it's a done deal.:rockon:
