O.K. all you SoCal hoons, Lefty's coming down south one more time before 2013 comes to a close. Cali rider will be planning the ride routes to be posted in the next few days but we will be meeting in the vicinity of Hwys 5 & 91. We can either meet for an early breakfast around 7:30 and/or meet up at a gas station or Starbucks around 9:00 for those wanting to arrive a little later. John promises a nice 250-300 mile mellow ride with a lunch stop along the way. After the way our NorCal/SoCal ride in June transpired, it would be nice to finish a nice group ride with all my SoCal friends.

So, who's in?

Lefty already knows I won't be making this one. My baby and I have a mini vacation and that's the day we hit the road.

Have a great ride my friends! I will miss being with you all! :)

Jerry, woo hoo it'll be great to see you again.

Cliff, boo hoo I won't be able to see you brother. :(

 awesome Byran, I was hoping you'd be able to join in. :D

I need to get out and ride more, not only for my own sanity but to get some miles on the bike. I need get the 12,000 mile service ("The Big One" for Triumphs) done before my service contract expires in April 2014  I'm about 2000 miles shy of that, and riding as infrequently as I have been is making it hard to get to that mileage.

Gone are the pre-kid years where I put 40k on the FZ6 in 2 years!

Well, 250-300 miles doesn't sound like you'll be making it up this way. If for some reason you do, let me know.

:steve: Count me in!!!

If there is a dawn patrol headed up from San Diego way (Goop), I would be happy to meet up and ride together. I've been waking up at 4am for some reason lately, so no problem with an early start time!

:cheer: Can't wait to see you guys again.

Yahoo Jen, you're counted! :cheer:

I'm working on the loop. I am trying to allow two choices for weather considerations, if we have Santa Ana winds I want to avoid canyon activities.

At this time there will be more Super Ténérés on this ride than FZ6's!!!

The earlier the better! I'm up for a meet and ride.

I'm up for either! I don't have to work the next day

Option 1 takes us on "The Snake" on Mullholland, correct? I've always been curious about that famous (or infamous) stretch.

Also, do you think we can meet at 8 or is that too early?

Once again, very nicely done John. I appreciate your effort in coming up with two completely different choices.

I'm with Goop, except for the 8 meet up:eek: What time are you leaving home?
I'd need to leave at 6-6:30, man I need all the beauty rest I can get:BLAA:
Just kidding, what ever time is fine with me:thumbup:

Just spent two hours at my Urologist's office this afternoon for incredible pain in my kidney region. Getting a CT scan in the morning to see if it's kidney stones (once again) or a muscle/skeletal issue, neither of which will make me miss this ride unless I'm in the hospital that weekend. Painkillers rock!

I am a maybe. :) I would love to get together with you guys, it's been quite a while!

Just to be clear, are we talking Saturday or Sunday here?

I would maybe drop out somewhere around halfway on either route depending on which day. I probably am not in shape (riding-shape that is) to ride such a long distance ...

EDIT: John, that sucks about the urologist. My wife had kidney stones once and it was horrible for her.
