The "Off Topic" thread...

The land of promise on port road.

Anything on at any of the speedways. Mud boat racing at Langhorne creek? Kite surfing between the Onk mouth and Seaford is cool to watch. Windsurfing on Horseshoe reef at Christies is also entertaining. Grab a wood fired pizza from Glenelg pizza house, and park at the end of the runways, and watch planes take off and land. Maslins. It's all happening.

I know a few of the girls from the Land of Promise...fine examples of the female gender they are!!! :BLAA:

As for Speedway, the World Series Sprintcars are back in SA on the 14th, and 15th of this month at Speedway Park, and Murray Bridge!

And i am going for a ride with Sprintcar ace, Robbie Farr, in the 2 seater Sprintcar!!! FTW! :rockon:

You sure can still do it.....quite often i stop there and have a gander...even stopped there a few times on night rides with Mikey...

Between there , Parafield & RAAF Edinbourgh i'd be in heaven :thumbup: They used to have the gliders flying out next to the Gawler Bypass , is that still there aswell ??
 
No way dude. I never drive past the girls at the land of promise :D. Always walk past really slow watching carefully to make sure they're not gonna cut themselves, or fall in a pit in the hotel floor. Man I'm a caring individual!

I still remember my first visit to a strip show in Sydney, back when I were a lad. Was sitting there enjoying the show, and one of the girls that had just been dancing comes over and asks if I'd like to come upstairs. So I (in the most naive way imaginable) ask politely, "oh? What kind of shows do they have up there?". She then explained the situation for me, most patiently, and of course I LMAO, explained that this was my first time in The Cross and it was my first (not performed at abuck's show or 18th type) strip show, and politely told her no thank you, but thanks for asking.
She then plonked down next to me and chatted for a while. She said she quite liked being spoken to politely, like a human being for a change. She even introduced me to a couple of the other girls, and pointed out others to steer away from. There were some serioisly drug wrecked types about :(.

LOL.....sounds like a normal Saturday night to me! and as for "exotic" dancers...there aint nothing "exotic" about any of them! except maybe their drug habit of choice! :eek:

Through my "day" job, i know many, and avoid more of them....poor deluded souls the majority of them, bless em!

Funny how 'Exotic Dancers' like be spoken to with a civil tongue , we had one at my brothers bucks party sit down between us & eat dinner with us , chatted for hours , told us which were the nice girls & which ones were the skanks LOL... She'd go have a 'dance' , come back to our table bring a couple of drinks , flirt like no tomorrow & then cracked the &h!ts BIG time when we refused a private show :rof: Silly , silly money hungry girl , we saw you coming a mile away :D never did thank her for the free drinks :thumbup:
