When Mike smoked, many, many years ago, I would buy a carton of B&H Special Filter from Woolies for $25.

Dunno, but i pay between $10.50 and $12.50 a packet of Peter Stuyvesant 20'S.....But they are just about one of the most expensive brands out there!

LOL! Yeah the fun at the Pub would last about 5 seconds, soon as you saw the filter, you would know! and then, if i did get to light the menthol fag, the person who tricked me, might wanna run and hide....cause it's going in their drink!

Well, i am in the middle of the nastiest Flu i have had for years....Have not kept food down for 2 days...

Cant stand cigarettes right now! So i am going to try and use the Flu to my advantage, and give up the Smokes!

The latest price rise is a factor, health is the major factor though!

gonna try and go cold turkey! no patches, just pure willpower!

Don't rely on luck man....just do it. Keep your eye on the ball.:thumbup: The cravings at first are just nuts, but in a few weeks you'll find they reduce to an occasional, "OMFG! I Want a smoke!" which lasts for all of 2 seconds and you can get back to what you were doing. If you weaken and have just one, you might as well go buy a pack. A reason, think that lots of ex-smokers hate the smokes so much is that it really does help in quitting to keep hating the things.

Good luck mate , just remember your 2/3 the way there :thumbup:.... 1st 3 days are the worst & chewing gum helps...... I went cold turkey & if you really wanna quit it easy :thumbup:

I'm dirt biking in Nowra all day tomorrow. Just thought I'd announce that as I'm ridiculously excited. I haven't ridden mx in about 10 years, and Yamaha threw a 2010 YZ450f my way for the day. Wo!

There's wagers going on at work as to how many times I'll flip it on the first lap They're probably going to film it so I'll post it up if I can. Or look out for me on funny home videos.
