In this case, "the best" would be a personal preference. What I might consider "the best", others may not so the question of what is "the best" is irrelevant.

The best chain lube is whatever you are using on your chain ATM.

As long as you are lubing and cleaning it regularly, all is good. I don't think you can pick a 'bad' chain lube.

Not sure if there is a "best" but I use PJ1 and it works great. Just let it get tacky and it wont fling

I have heard that PJ1 is awesome stuff! i have always used SX chain lube and have been pleased, but i will be changing when the can is empty to try the PJ1.

Also note that it is not recommended to change back and forth from wax to lube to wax to lube to...

I like the Wurth dry-lube, I also rate the Castrol chain wax very highly.

Both are low to no fling and do their job as you would expect, but I guess Boneman hit the nail on the head, and the key is that whatever you use, you use it regularly.

I'm a Charmin girl, myself. But whatever you use, make sure you use it regularly...

LOL!!!!

I was thinking the exact same think!

The key is to clean and reoil/wax/lube every 300 miles. If you do your chain will last a very long time.

Anything but this.....

thumb-Toilet%20paper%20for%20the%20Mother%20In-Law.jpg

That made me hurt on the inside.
Kinda reminds me of that really thin sand paper stuff that Scott makes. You know the kind you can get at the convenience store for like .50 and is in all the porta-toilets... yea.

PJ1 here... just wipe off the excess before riding or it does fling and makes your bike very dirty.

And.... Angel Soft.
